Main Objectives

• I. Set up/update norms for establishment and operation of world-class and secure Common Hazardous Waste Treatment Storage and Disposal Facilities
• II. Create access to latest environment regulations among industries
• III. Assist in formulation of legislations for better environmental governance
• IV. Promote innovations in alternate technology in 3 R concept of Reduce, Re-Use and Recycle to achieve 3Z goals of Zero Emission, Zero Discharge and Zero Landfill in industries
• V. Interface with industries, solution providers and service providers for standardizing/updating pollution control measures
• VI. Facilitate environmental creativity among school children
